Graham Merk is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Financial Advisor with over 40 years of experience. He is the founder and principal advisor at IA Financial Advisors. He believes in creating long lasting relationships with his clients so that he can understand their needs, wants, and wishes on a holistic level. Beyond his work with his clients, he has given numerous educational seminars on investments, retirement planning, and estate planning to both individual and corporate audiences. He has served in numerous capacities at his former church, on town committees, and as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. When he is not helping his clients plan for their retirement or hosting his radio show “The Money Curriculum” on WTAG 94.9 FM radio, you can find him at his four granddaughters dance recitals. He has a passion for his family and has moved his business multiple times to be closer to them. No matter how many moves he makes to be closer to his family, he always maintains his client relationships. This is proven by the fact that he still retains many of his clients from when he first started out, nearly 40 years ago.
Eric has been with IA Financial Advisors for the last three years, starting as Operations Manager and now filling the role of Financial Advisor. He brings a focus on systems and processes to create a better overall experience for our clients. He has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry, working under multiple financial advisors and running his own insurance business. His acquired knowledge from working for many large-name firms allows him to incorporate many proven financial planning, insurance, and investment strategies to keep IA Financial Advisors on the leading edge of the industry. He holds his Series 66, Series 7, life, and health insurance licenses, along with having passed the SIE. When he is outside the office, you can find him chasing his six-year-old son and crazy Irish Terrier around, co-hosting “The Money Curriculum,” climbing mountains, and going for runs.
Heather has recently joined IA Financial Advisors, taking over the Operations Manager role. She brings an incredible ability to problem solve, drive the vision of a service-based firm, and innovate to keep IA Financial Advisors at the forefront of client servicing. Heather’s background working for large technology companies in the accounting, controls, revenue, and coordination of global training operations has enabled IA Financial Advisors’ growth and heightened level of service to our clients. When Heather is out of the office, you can find her chasing her crazy Financial Advisor husband, six-year-old, and Irish Terrier around, volunteering for all types of causes, helping her family, and thinking of things to make our business better!
